Phish - The Divided Sky cover on bass and guitar PART 1

Part One

This is me playing The Divided Sky from the album Junta written by Mr. Trey Anastasio of Phish on both guitar and bass. The guitar should basically be note for note, the bass not so much. Maybe one day I'll learn Mike's parts verbatim, but for now this will have to do. Yes it's a PRS and yes, both the guitar and bass are being played through a crappy Epiphone Studio 10S practice amp. Please excuse the mess ups on both bass and guitar and also the incompetent video editing (first time recording anything). I may re-do this when I have my full rig again and an actual bass amp. Oh, and no I'm not scratching my butt, I didn't have a belt and my shorts don't fit. Enjoy!

Great job! Just learning all the parts for both instruments is impressive enough, but you played them both pretty well, and that's not the norm on most of these vids I see on here.

How old are you, if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks! I'm 22. 21 at time of recording though haha. Yeah I just got my bass amp back from my buddy's apartment and my new pedals came in the mail the past couple of days. I'm about to be moving to Orlando for the next couple days but once I'm settled in I'll probably redo this. I've got a MUCH better set up compared to this vid now and ive recently bought an SM-57 so it will be recorded much more clearly. Hopefully my Tonebone and Silver Mod SD-1/808 will get me some more sustain on those notes
