Today Ericsson has officially announced Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10, which was previously rumored as XPERIA X3 and Sony Ericsson Rachael. The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 is the first Smartphone that runs on Android operating system 1.6 and is powered by QSD8250 Snapdragon 1 GHz processor, which means you can move between different applications without any problem. This handset will come equipped with an 8.1 megapixel auto-focus camera with flash and video support and will offer features such as face and smile detection, as well as image stabilization. Also there is a huge 4 inch capacitive touch screen display that delivers a 480 x 854 pixel resolution (WVGA) plus microUSB, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS with A-GPS support and Wi-Fi is also included. The memory of this handset is of 1 GB built-in, which can be expended up to 16GB.
In addition in this cell phone Sony Ericsson has introduced Timescape feature, which is a multi platform social networking incorporation that brings Facebook, Flickr, Twitter, Emails, photos, and text messages all in one application and another new feature is the Mediascape, where youre capable to access media from all over the world. All and all Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 is a marvelous mobile phone but dont expect it to be a low end and it will be available by the first quarter of 2010.

So the Timescape/Mediascape stuff works well? Is it an addition or an annoyance? If the OS is stable I will buy this phone!!
