  • I'm sorry but you only proved Emoto correct. Your thoughts had everything to do with the outcome. You can feel the energy in a word,"You fool," for instance gives you a feeling deep down because a certain negative energy is absorbed. We know what your intention was, it doesn't take a genius. Not to sound like a quack but you have probably been let down in the past so you don't trust and believe enough to give it a truly fair experiment. The universe isn't how we once thought.

  • And here lies the problem - you are trying to tell me "WHAT MY THOUGHTS" were, and infact they were "NUETRAL - looking to see how it would come out! You Cannot, and I say Cannot PROVE what anyones INTENTION is!!! PERIOD!

  • So then... what is the "real world" that you refer to? Where did you derive these ideas from others than "others" opionions or so-called facts. Science can not be trusted. E=MC2 has been disproven... it WAS just a theory after all. Your experiment doesn't prove or disprove. You cannot truely prove the existence of god. I choose to believe Emoto is correct. It is what my rose coloured glasses produce for me. Sorry if you choose to have cracked glasses.

  • My point exactly, when you look at the world with rose colored glasses, you dont see the real world. All my video does, is offer another plausible explanation.

  • Well you saw what happened didnt you?

  • If your intention is to prove something doesn't work, guess where intention will take you? You actually proved the original theory because you intended the outcome to prove the truth of your preconceived notions. You set out to demonstrate a specific outcome (possibly subconscious) to disprove an idea, and your outcome was realized. If I were to "debunk" your experiment, my outcome would be the opposite of yours.

  • Here lies the problem, you "cannot prove" what my intention was regardless of your observation.

  • It's really sad that the only scientifically sound experiment of this that I've seen on Youtube gets hate from all the ignorant quantum-quackery fanatics.

  • Someone should start with the simple concept that bacteria doesn't cause mold, mold spores do, before trying to convince anyone of the validity of their "thinking man's" science experiment...lol.

  • mmm... If you think it´s not gonna work, it´s not gonna work.

How about somebody else tries this and shares the result? No cheating.

  • Your negative thoughts would have been what debunked the experiment. Your intent from the beginning was to debunk and so that was the outcome. Any person capable of critical thinking can see this. If you wish to stay ignorant and full of negativity and fear then keep thinking the way you do. If you ever want to know what peace and love are like then open your mind. Why not try researching Quantum physics or Quantum Entanglement to further research thoughts manifesting in our lives.

  • @oboyoberta

interesting results - makes me want to try it myself :) Have you tried repeating this with water added to the rice? Wasn't that part of the original experiment by Emoto? Since water is the main medium he speaks about through which our thoughts are effecting our bodies it might help. Would be interesting to see if it has any effect.

  • @eyallev I assumed as much. You're right. On top of "just do it til it works" the problem, there are the problems that the person who made this video pointed out: bacteria and mold spores are EVERYWHERE and it's really hard to keep the jars and rice truly sterile.

  • @NimbusDX actully, the experiment is to demonstrat something bigger.

the idea is that words/thoughts shape reality.

saying good things will cause good things, and saying bad things will cause bad things (to either/both, you, and/or who ever you are talking to).

and the idea is that it can be showen with something as simple as rice in a jar (problem is, that, if this exp' fails, you can easliy say "well, I must have done it wrong, let's try again", until it "works", which is basiclly 50-50)

  • while I agree that many of the comments here saying "you wanted it to fail, and that is why it failed" are kinda foolish, they do have a point.

what you should have done (or follow this up with) is a blind (or double blind) test.

have someone else prepare 10 sets of 3 jars (each set from a differant pot of rice), but not label them.

you than take the jars (not knowing which holds the top rice, or bottem rice), and label them "randomly".

now, let's see if the "happy" rice stays good.

  • I had never even heard of this experiment before watching your videos. What a joke. People thinking they can make bacteria grow using their minds? People believe some awfully silly things, don't they?

  • After these two are done I will run another experiment in both environments with mixed intent for both and see that outcome. Then I will repeat the experiments intill I am sure that there is a right or wrong in this issue.

  • I am doing the experiment at the moment in a controled area and also another of the same experiment in an "uncontroled" area. Mr. Emoto speaks of intention being the key in experiment. So I will expect the controled to give me Emoto's desired outcome, well I expect and have intention that the other will fail aka proving "BS".
