The Dreamland Ballroom was home to all of the acts of the 60's, 70's with its 50's doo wop festivals, a historic land mark of conneaut lake park in meadville pa, the park was closed, the landmarks part of a historic trust.

yea i was ther this summer since the 90s. def not the same.kinda ran down and had crazy people working whatever three rides they had running.I like this place alot, my camps right near there and I look forward to going there this year i hope someone steps up and takes care of business.

Looks like they caught the bastard today (April 4th). His name is Nickolas Pope, 19 year old waste of life. Just looking at his pic makes me sick to my stomach. Read about it on the Meadville Tribune website, I hope this scum rots in jail for the rest of his pathetic life.

This really makes me sad. I was born in Meadville and grew up in CLP until I was 12. I heard about all of the financial difficulties the park has been going through. I really hope this isn't icing on the cake and an excuse to "do away" with the park. The community is going to have to really fight hard. I wish there was something I could do. I hope someday I can visit and see the park alive as ever.

This is so sad... I hope for the sake of everyone in the community the area in and around CLP can be brought back to life. The failing economy along with greed and poor management have really ended what was a good run for the Park. I didn't realize the memories and how much history I personally had with the Park until this week watching the footage of the fire. It is time to grieve... but in that grief let's not forget to rebuild, come together and support the community.
