  • What brand are these cooling towers? I've only personally seen BAC and Evapco cooling towers, neither of them look like this.

  • @SeanPCummings A cooling tower just cools...no radiation needed. In a nuclear power plant, cooling towers cool the steam used to drive turbines that produce energy. The steam is produced by the core which does require radioactive isotopes.

  • Very nice! I made a little homemade one for the science fair in my junior year of high school. It actually worked, too. It cooled water from 90 deg F down to 70 deg F with the help of a pump and a small fan.
