http://www.ted.com Charlie Todd causes bizarre, hilarious, and unexpected public scenes: Seventy synchronized dancers in storefront windows, "ghostbusters" running through the New York Public Library, and the annual no-pants subway ride. At TEDxBloomington he shows how his group, Improv Everywhere, uses these scenes to bring people together.
TEDTalks is a daily video podcast of the best talks and performances from the TED Conference, where the world's leading thinkers and doers give the talk of their lives in 18 minutes. Featured speakers have included Al Gore on climate change, Philippe Starck on design, Jill Bolte Taylor on observing her own stroke, Nicholas Negroponte on One Laptop per Child, Jane Goodall on chimpanzees, Bill Gates on malaria and mosquitoes, Pattie Maes on the "Sixth Sense" wearable tech, and "Lost" producer JJ Abrams on the allure of mystery. TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design, and TEDTalks cover these topics as well as science, business, development and the arts. Closed captions and translated subtitles in a variety of languages are now available on TED.com, at http://www.ted.com/translate.

Street theatre is great. My favorite was a zombie walk in Seattle. I was 'caught' by a road sign and spent a few moments mindlessly struggling against the impediment. Whether trying to drop trou on a motorcycle (impossible) or getting a motorcycle club + friends(about 35-40 people) to moon the other river floaters(Yakima Canyon), those who help humor increase are wanted and needed. About an hour ago, while I watered plants, a car stopped and a kid climbed out of the trunk. No worries-keep it up!

COMMUNITY SPIRIT! :D It's not just fun - it reminds us that we're all in the same community, of the same race. The human race.
