  • What I can't understand is that some people have had NDEs and become born-again christians like Howard Storm and Ian McCormack and go along preaching Jesus as the only way to salvation.

  • @JazzLoverKhurram Yes, that is an issue because most people do not and NDE research does not support religious fundamentalism. I think where they go wrong is in the interpretation of their experience - while it can be understood in the thinking of many religions and spiritual traditions some get stuck or choose one interpretation and then let the power of the experience turn them to fundamentalists.

  • so id only one faith true? Like is u don't believe in the Catholic bible specifically do you go to hell?

  • They all claim to be the one true faith because they want blind followers and they use fear of hell to force people. This is a sin, highly unethical marketing and has a name: Religious Fundamentalism. Logically, one can't be the only true one when they all claim that. However, without anyone being the one true religion they all have parts of the truth in them so its up to your taste which one you like better.

  • @eMathSpace Howard Storm is doing what he felt was a calling. Went back to his childhood of religion. We all "do" our best even at screwing up. Jesus taught. A Master. People still misunderstand and thats ok. Each has a path. In time religion will be gone. People will be more spiritual. We NDErs are playing our role, everyone is, here at Earth School. ; )

  • It is sad that Howard Storm and others preach that the historical Jesus is the only way after experiencing the Light. It is well know in Eastern religions (e.g. the Tibetan Book of the Dead) that whether you see Jesus, Krishna or your pet dog in the Light depends on what your previous conditioning was. The NDE is like a complex number (in math) with both real and imaginary components. Unfortunately, religions are reflecting this Light imperfectly through a biased cultural lens.

  • so you are the one who said in "lessons from the light" that everything was parfect.if you took the one thousand best things that ever happened to you in your life and multiplied by a million, you could get close to this feeling.is this true?no exaggeration?i am a member of iands.and i am an experiencer.but mine was not as strong as yours.

  • @Dejavu12321 so your saying god send himself to make a sacrifice to himself.. to forgive man kinds sin. why did he go through all that trouble anyways? if he is all powerful and all loving he would of forgiven us without having to come down on earth.

  • people should try psychedelics you'll have similar experiences

  • @rtubervoice oh bullshit.. christians have been to hell in nde and poeple have seen buddha in heaven...religion does not matter.

  • @LightBehindGod very well said mam right to the point and not allowing anyone to side track you from your great points. you made so much sense and if they listened to the video then u have already answered all their questions.

  • @misdelivery Having had a truckload of spiritual mystical experiences & epiphanies throughout my life and even more astonishing encounters with Angels I have to say Jesus?! God? Jehovah? Buddha !

The Light by any other name is Just as LOVE :-)

  • @JazzLoverKhurram Spirit is metaphor, paradox... Spirit is dance and poetry.

  • @JazzLoverKhurram Different religion speak to a person's own understanding in their chosen language. When you have a mystical experience like this, you see the "meta experience" - the one that various words don't really define, but merely point at. Religions "point" to experiences, but the are not experiences and God/Spirit/Source is an experience. And when you have an experience, you find that they are all saying the same thing (from a higher state of consciousness). Spirit is not literal.
