Samuel Adams' new spring seasonal beer, Samuel Adams Alpine Spring, is a transitional brew created to take drinkers from winter's heavier brews to the lighter beers of summer. Alpine Spring is an unfiltered, crisp, refreshing, medium-bodied lager with bright floral and citrus notes. It's big enough to stand up to the cool temperatures of spring -- the perfect flavor complement to the season.
I'm digging this beer out here in the land of ipa. Looking forward to last years Noble Pils to come back out as a year rounder as well. I have a theory that the Lager is the next frontier in craft brewing and these two beers have spear headed the movement. Great Divide has just submitted their two entries both are excellent. Just had a couple Green Flash Fizzy Yellows yesterday, what a fantastic pils!!
Alpine Spring is a superb quality to value ratio, which makes it a go to beer at the moment.
