cro cop was fighting in k-1 before most of these kids were born 95-96 and fedor was ahead of his time skill wise,just not a physical specimen like overeem.but pure talent and know how to fight and finish.Alot of fighters do not know how to finish.This is why he got caught, he went for the win, the reason we all love him as a fighter.Even in a loss we saw him go for the win atleast.

Fedor can definitely defend against chokes. I still can't believe he survived that arm triangle against Bigfoot Silva. 60lbs advantage of a blackbelt trying to choke him out and he survived.

@facecutter3000 Dude Fedor beat 7 guys during his run who held or would hold a UFC belt! If you get in a cage 25 times in a row against pros and win, you are good, even if it wasn't UFC caliber. Cro-Cop fought in the UFC way past his prime, like vanderlei. Fedor in his prime was the best, but they all get old from Royce to Roy Jones. Peace.

If you don't understand why beating opponents who are 10-0, top 10 ranked over and over for 10 years is incredible, just stick to watching the UFC and don't try too hard to understand actual ability.

Even the guys that are pointed to now as bums had better records than Shane Carwin when he got his title shot at the time Fedor fought them. Ogawa was undefeated 9 - 0, same for Zuluzinho, in the biggest organisation in the world at the time.
