Surprise

(Chapter from Joe's point of view)

Wow! This tour is like the best ever! I can't believe how many fans show up every night! It's c-r-a-z-y!

- The earth to Joe! Kevin says. We're starting in five minutes!
- Uh! Oh, okay...I'm coming! I answer

I get up and head for the stage with my brothers. You know, it's great being in a band with them. We're family and very close. We don't fight and get along very well. People tend to be surprised when we say that but it's true. Our family bonds are really strong. Aaaah! I wished all of them could be here with us! It's been one month since we went to Katie's dance show. She's already started school. Poor her. I know she hates it. We've been calling, texting and chating with her almost everyday. She seems to be doing okay but with Katie you can never be 100% sure. I really hope she is okay...Well, I have to stop it with the thinking. It's time to ROCK OUT! WHOOOO!

(40 minutes later)

Kevin and I are standing on the side as Nick starts playing A little bit longer.

- Great show man! I say to Kevin
- Yaah! This crowd is awesome! Kevin says
- Ah! That song gets me everytime, I say
- Me too, Kevin says

We stand there listening to Nick singing and the crowd singing along. It's really emotional and beautiful. Suddenly, as Nick is going to start singing the chorus, a girl's voice joins him. Kevin and I look at each other, shocked.

- It couldn't be...Kevin starts
- It IS! I finish as Katie walks on stage singing with Nick who looks as surprised as us.
- Oh my god! Kevin says, trying to contain his excitement

Katie sings the second verse by herself and sings the rest of the song with Nick. Kevin and I get in with the guitars. The song finishes, we all bow together under a thunder of applause and head backstage.

- KATIE! We all scream together, basically throwing ourselves on her.
- Umph, guys...can't breath, Katie says with difficulty
- Ooops, sorry, we say as we back off
- I can't believe it! You're actually here! Kevin says
- And you sang! Nick adds
- Well, it was my time to surprise you guys! Plus, I missed you so much I had to come! And guess what!? She says
- What? We all ask
- I'm staying for...A WEEK! She screams
- That's sooo cool! Kevin says
- Woohoooo! Nick and I say
- But, how about school and everything? Kevin asks
- Bah! I can afford missing a week! Katie answers
- Anyways, you were pretty awesome on that stage! Nick says
- Oh yeah! I say
- The crowd went crazy when you came out! Kevin says
- When you started to sing I couldn't believe it! I say
- I was like : What the...Nick says
- Ha! Ha! Well I'm happy my plan worked, Katie says
- Common lil'sis, we'll bring you to our bus! I say

Katie was glowing. She looked really happy to be here. We walked outside to our bus and a lot of fans were there. Even Katie took some pictures and signed autographs.

- Phew! I don't know how you guys can deal with that everyday! Katie says as we get in the bus
- Ha! Ha! You get used to it, Nick says
- But it's sooooo much fun! Kevin says

IT'S A CAMP ROCK MOMENT!

Haha! I say that alot. WE had a b.ball game at school & the drill team was in the middle & my bf was talking to the team (he's kinda the head guy) & there were 15 seconds left (see where I'm going with this?) and it was all quiet & I said "OMG! it's a hsm moment!" then I screamed "GO DRAKE!" & ruined the moment... for everyone.x]
