The next generation of environment friendly robots are on the way. This "predator" robot needs flies to digest in order to create energy for movement. Although the distance covered after "eating" one fly is about couple of centimeters, the technology opens new perspective to fueling our vehicles.

feed it some milk, meat, eggs, or anything that has more proteins. and avoid feeding fatty foods to avoid disease..

You could design the future generations of robots to digest organic trash. Place them in a city dump and you kill two birds with one stone. They take care of the waste. They don't have to design them to eat living anything, just organic.
