  • @HammadZ90 I did but failed. i have told you that i cant send messages only. i have followed the steps but dont know whats the problem. Do uhave any other solution? THANKYOU so much

  • @pearl1spears I think i know ur problem now...You have to go to settings>Wireless Controls>Mobile Networks>and now be sure that the "USE ONLY 2G NETWORK is ticked. then it should be able to send text messages.

  • It is not compitable with my ufone sim... as i can receive test, i can call, and i can receive call but unfortunately i cant send a message.. thats the first problem and the other problem is that ram is only 128 mb and appliations from market can only be store in interanal memory and no work of sd here so limited amount of applications..

    i am using 1.6 firm ware and now i am going to update it with froyo 2.2.... excpet these 2 things i will call it best cell fone from all aspects...:)

  • @pearl1spears i had the same problem with ufone not sending text. All u have to do is go to settings>wireless Controls>Mobile Networks>Network Operators>and then pick ufone pk. And then it'll send messages.

  • Hey I got my brand new g1, installed with 1.5, I,ve upgraded to 1.6 Donout. I,m loving it. Picture quality is really great.

  • @asif987 no man it doesnt cost anything, one day i just unlocked the phone and it asked me on the home screen if i wanted to update the phone so i did. Not really sure how u actually do it unless it asks u itself.

  • @HammadZ90 hhmmm you did 1.0. to 1.5 up gradation urself or from market? if from market then for how much?

  • Yea works great with all networks in pakistan. And yea got 1.5 right now. Its the sickest phone ever.
