Indie, my peach-fronted conure, loves to sing this song over and over. She was 'helping' me fold laundry and broke into song.

  • She is tooooo cute!!

  • @katydid26 - Thank you so much! Indie is a bit spoiled, but she always has time for her admirers! >^..^<

  • so cute! My peach front is not a huge whistler but my grey and cape are fantastic whistlers. They don't know this tune yet, Ill have to teach them. Very cute peach front!

  • @chloegeo - Peach fronts are such characters! We only had to whistle that song for about 2 days and she surprised us with singing it on her own. I'm sure once your other birds start whistling it, your peach front with join along. Once you get your chorus together, put them on youtube - I'd love to see that!

  • hehe, my blue crowned conure, Merlyn, is dancing to your birdie :)

  • @peppug - Cheers Merlyn! Good times!

  • @coco1963f - Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment! African Grey's are such great talkers. Do you have any videos of him whistling the Andy Griffith song? I think every bird has their own variation of it. Does your green cheek talk? Have fun with them!

  • @Slightlyinsane16 - Thank you for the lovely compliment! Parrots of all sizes and makes love it when we whistle to them. Show your quaker lots of love and lots of whistling and she'll start joining in really quick. Good luck~

  • @Peedge80 - Thank you for your comment! We whistled it a few times just to see if she'd like it. she totally surprised us the next day by whistling it all by herself. You never know what they're going to pick up and repeat. Enjoy!

  • Did you teach her this song? She's adorable!
