John Nettles and the rest of the Bergerac cast and crew tell about the problems they had on set with the Triumph Roadster.
The Cult of Bergerac originally aired in 2008 on BBC Four as part of a documentary series called 'The Cult of...' which was then followed by the title of a popular Sunday night BBC drama series.
What a shame they didn't invest in a decent one. I have had mine since 1969, and a good one that's been looked after is a wonderful machine. 5 seats (dickey or rumble for two), top speed 80 (though takes 28 seconds to get there) it's a proper open tourer. Things like the Armstrong Siddeley Hurricane of a later vintage struggles to make 60 mph. The 2000 has basically the same engine as the TR2, the Standard Vanguard Phase 1. They got an 1800 that was very rough. Sorry to be an anorak!

Wonderful, wonderful. Although I would love to see the entire interview, is it possible? Does anyone know how?
