al-nakba. Nakba. The Israeli Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine.

As Edward Said emphasised, what the Holocaust is to the Jews, the Naqba is to the Palestinians.
Nakba (Arabic: النكبة al-nakba is on 15 May)it is the annual day of commemoration and remembrance of the Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine. it translates into the catastrophe by the Palestinian people of the anniversary of the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948 was established over the dispossession of hundreds of thousands of life's loss of their land.
the establishment of israel resulted in the flight or expulsion of more than 750,000 Palestinian. making them into refugees and the destruction and or abandonment of more than 418 Palestinian villages by jewish gangs and thugs terrorizing the Palestinian natives.
Palestinians call these events al-Nakba ("the catastrophe").

Since Israel has not come to terms with its part in the historical responsibility for the Palestinian Nakba, it cannot truly believe that Arabs could accept its presence in the Middle East.

How you can compare it to holocaust????? A war that 7!!! arab armies attacked Israel after a decision that gave a land to Israelis and Palestinians. In this war the arabs killed thousands of jewish and their leader: the muftti Hag Amin El-Hussaini called them to go to the arab countries to groped for attacking the israelis. it's a shame that here, in the usa, television and big name news companies only show and emphasize the side of israel and says that it needs to be supported. the news just barely shows the side of the palestinians and how much support they really need. i am supporting palestine.
