A Major Difference In The Way Protesters Are Treated In Rockford

A group called "Occupy Rockford" is distributing flyers's featuring a clinched fist and what looks like the "red star" that was a symbol of the old Soviet Socialist Republic. These flyer's are encouraging people to join their protests in Rockford on Saturday Oct 15.

A group of pro-lifers gathers at three locations through out the Rockford are on Oct 15 also. Their symbol is the cross of Jesus Christ.

We saw two major differences in these public gathering of the people of Rockford.

The main themes of the "Occupy Rockford" group seemed to be anarchy and the desire to enact a European style socialist economy.

The themes of the pro-life prayer vigils were peace, faith in God, and respect for all human life.

Sadly it seems the Rockford police are allowing the radical leftist protesters to protest in ways that are forbidden to pro-lifers. What really matters that we as Christians continue to stand up for all human life no matter the difficulties until the Rockford abortion mill is closed for good.

OCCUPY ROME PROTESTERS ATTACK CATHOLIC CHURCH

“When I came down, I saw the entrance door had been smashed in,” the church’s parish priest, Father Giuseppe Ciucci, was quoted by Italian media as saying.

“The Virgin Mary’s statue, which was at the entrance, had been taken away and I saw it had been thrown into the street and smashed,” he said.

“I went into the sacristy and I saw the door there was also destroyed. The large crucifix at the entrance had been vandalized,” he added.

America has one of the highest corp tax rates, he and I agree on that ... but it is the effective tax rates that matter in the end. Mr. Hale brought up GE refunds (an attempted swipe at NBC) which proved my point. Class dismissed.

The Occupy movement is NOT anti-captalism, nor anti-small/mid-level corporation. The right-wing media loves to claim this movement is against corps and capitalism. That is a lie. We are against those multi-national corps that open factories in other countries that then lay off Americans here a home, make billions in profit as a result, and then pay little to no taxes. Get your facts straight.

Don't care about you anti abortion stance but I have a problem with you calling the occupy movement "radically left". On fiscal issues i lean more towards the right yet strongly support the occupy movement. I strongly suspect if you'd take the time to learn the issues they are fighting for you'd support the occupy movement too. Unless you happen to be part of the 1%.

This is propaganda from Teabagger David Hale, who is in bed with the fascist Koch Brothers. They somehow manage to avoid showing the folks in Occupy Rockford that are veterans, retirees, teachers and everyday citizens...not that people can be judged as easily as they would believe. Somehow they also manage to avoid showing how the Occupy movement outnumbered the Tea Party across the street by about 4 to 1. Glad to see few have fallen for this nonsense.

I find it interesting that although the OWS and the Tea Party have much in common, like "too big, too fail", getting money out of politics that your side is so unwilling (or unable?) to see it. Just sad.

did the people in this video authorize you to use this footage and their likeness in this way?. also no one is holding a picture of a fetus. ans these occurred during the daytime hours. i can say i know several of the poeple in this video and i don't think they would appreciate you using footage of them without their consent for propaganda on this subject. now here i could take a stab at your grammar but i'll let you look it over yourself.
