First off let me dedicate this video series to my friend at the lake that has a love of fireworks as much as I do. Thanks to you and your family for a great time and thanks for letting me share it with others.

I made this series long because we had so much fun. In this video you will see how to put together a small fireworks display. Please try to watch the series in order and I guarantee you will feel as if you worked right beside us.
Please rate each video series as you move along watching it. Total run time may be close to 70 minutes.

If you know this lake location please do not post it, let us just call it The Lake.

  • You say the red fuse is the main fuse, the green fuse is the backup fuse, yet if you light both together everything will be okay.

Can I be ignorant and light the green fuse with the cake still going off right? ^^

  • Just visualize it as one long fuse starting at one end of the cake and going to the other. You can use the other end to ignite something else after it burns through the cake or light both ends to speed the firing up.

  • You know, we can have a "Drive-By Cake". What is it? Well, this is a special effects performance where the fireworks are not set up on a barge, but on the back of a pick up truck for instance (or any other vehicle). During the night, there is a competition between two vehicles, but no one gets hurt. I am sure you can come up with a more entertaining version. Even though I said this in jest, this performance can be done safely.
