Seems there's *A LOT* of transparent GOP "stance changing" these days. And these same scurrilous, duplicitous, pandering right-wing scumbuckets had the UNMITIGATED GALL to call John Kerry a "flip-flopper." What a bunch of despicable, contemptible, untrustworthy LIARS.
You aren't understanding his point. Without an official language, a country lacks a certain amount of "official" culture with which to associate itself. If English were to become the "official language," that's not to say that we wouldn't embrace other languages. The United States isn't _ALL_ like Hazleton, Pennsylvania.
Yet another brilliant observation. The vast majority of Americans speak english why shouldn't that be the offical language by law. If I moved to Mexico, I'd be more than happy to adapt to Mexican culture, assimilate into the population and learn spanish, we would like the same in return.
well mexico and the united states are two completely different countries just because one has an official language that does one mean that the other should have one .
and you are right most countries have an official language but then a lot of countries have more than one official language how about that option?
I understand its a pretty complex statement, which part of it don't you understand? Mexico has an official language why shouldn't the USA? Most countries have an offical language.
The 12 second sound bite says it all, eh? I don't like McCain- I loathe him- but that doesn't change the fact that you're supposed to listen to someone's position before you try to refute it. If you don't know what it is you're refuting, how can you possibly have any idea what you're talking about?
Our next dollar bill will be the mexico president, on a three dollar bill.
