Think Tank Sci-fi project

Winner of the Best DVD at the recent Media Innovation Awards (South West England) this a short snip from the Think Tank interactive DVD project made for Museum of Barnstaple and North Devon. Written by Jon Croose and Iona Dowling and produced by maniac films. Basically an alien comes to Earth and drops into teh museum to collect objects for analysis by the Galactonauts - the DVD is designed to be played in schools and a teacher-led series of interactive learning games are played to help teach kids how to discover information and how to learn. The type of objects do not matter and can be performed with any series of objects. Julian Vayne from the museum played the alien and has so far been into many Devon schools and has interested over 1250 kids in learning and about museum objects.
