@DASH1ful I did not mean this. I asked about proofs to support the theory that breathing diring backswing helps increasing the turn. You said it is anatomically proven.
-
@h1e2x3 The best scientific proof is the golf ball.
-
@DASH1ful Very interesting info. Where I can verify the proof of the theory ? A link to a scientific article would help. Thanks, mate.

@h1e2x3 If you turn slightly and then just breathe in this will accentuate your shoulder turn. This proves that in the very crucible of swing theory it is an anatomically proven fact that this will increase your turn and help activate the muscles. Also if we try to reach for something whilst we breathe in we cannot reach out for it as quickly. If we breathe out, which relaxes the muscles, when we reach out for something we can move our arm much more quickly.

@DASH1ful Yeah, I thought about this aspect a lot. The problem is to find a reliable scientific source to prove the theory.

@JDO20JDO The way to regulate the pace of your back-swing, and generate rhythm, is by breathing in the back-swing. It also helps if you only think of swinging back in the back-swing.

True to some extent, but according to the SPC concept the only way to automate the transition is to look at the swing as compression and extension phases. Deliberately slowed backswing won't guarantee proper compression during transition.

1. Me nor you are Hogan.
2. It is a correct sequence that puts it all together.
3. Its not apperent right off the bat just like alot of things that are related to DNA. Your hight is genetic, you wont know what it will be for about 17 years. Your tempo may also be. Its not apperent right off the bat. All I am trying to say is that you need to keep looking till your DNA starts look like the pga DNA. Good luck. Comment on my swing if you like.

Thank you. Needs some tuning for sure though.

Why ? Hogan never slowed down anything, didn't he ? What matters is a correct sequencing of events. Tempo and velocity of the motion is in each golfer's DNA, should not be slowed down or speeded up.
