  • Is this 100% Schertler or is the LRBaggs at work here as well?

  • @vantagestudios 100% Schertler. The Ads blocked the captions, sorry!

  • Hi Lewin,

Nice video and review. And great video quality, new camera and lights?

I see you have a Lr bagg M1 on your martin. Do you use it in combination with the schertler?

I have a M1 too and I'm looking for something to use with it and improve my live sound.

Thanks for sharing and see youvsoon on youtube :-)

  • @BrunoBaudewyns The Combo is great, but I always have more of the Schertler dialed in. It sounds a lot more natural, I also have the Schertler PreAmp that goes with it, it's a BIg help in live situations.

  • It seems to sound pretty good. I gave up on transducers many years ago. Unless you have one permanently attached, they always seem to come off at the most inopportune times. The frequency range is also quite a bit smaller than coil pickups.

I still have my 20 year old Dean Markley ProMag - duct-tape fixes and all. Still sounds great. I'd love to hear a direct comparison between the two.

  • @Stratomacaster I too used to have a pro-Mag. This thing is light years ahead of that! It really does sound like a microphone.... since it technically IS a microphone.

  • I really like that song at the end- do you have your music for sale anywhere?

  • @ddbarnes11 @ddbarnes11 i accidentally discovered this when i plug my mic on the speaker slot and it creates a sound, so by logic for having similar filament it should work and it did.. althought the mic filament is more sensitive aluminum than the speaker headphones earplugs

try it and u will be amaze dude..

  • @ddbarnes11 instead of plugging the headset to the speaker or headphone jack, plug it to the mic plug and the filament that acts as speakers will act like mic.. the attach it to the guitar sound board and it will pick up the sound of the guitar..

  • @yamaha4759 How did you do that?

  • Six hundred freaking bucks? Yikes! Sounds great, but whoah, mama.

  • wow, that really sounds amazing, my tiny headset (one piece) ear plugs converted to guitar pick up sounded almost close to this...

  • Lewin, great review. If I may, how does the jack connect to the Dyn-G? I'm not sure I understand the way it all connects and holds onto the guitar. Can you briefly explain? Thx.

  • How does the DYN-G sound for strumming rhythm tracks? Is it good enough for studio recording of rhythm acoustic guitar? Thanks for all you do! I appreciate your input!
