Dave MacDonald & Friends - The Dobru Project: Wan Bon (Wan Sranan)

1989 Utrecht. Dave launches a tremendous initiative to put to music the collective works of Surinam's most influential poet, Dobru. As the driving force behind this project, he composes all the music and arranges the poems to have their natural rythm as it be, fall in to cadence with the music. These recordings are the preparatory versions, of what will later be a musical, in which he stars, and also Dobru.
