The new DmC is supposedly an origin story. And now it is considered NON-CANON to the original Devil May Cry series. In this game, Dante is the son of an angel and a demon. So yeah, I thought that was interesting, and would placate those who despised the game so far.

@RE141095 I have to say, from gameplay I've seen, it could be a good game. It plays just like other games, gives Dante a Devil Bringer like power, and an interesting art style when seen in action (The levels themselves are demons out to get you, and even threaten you). Also, Dante seems more believable in cutscenes compared to the intentionally bad dialogue from other games. At least... I hope it's intentional.

i really dont understand the fan's view over the new DmC. we love the dante with the white hair so much for example. so why wouldnt you pick this game up and see where the white hair that we all know and love originated? there are so many other parts of devil may cry that we need to give this game a chance before bitching about the fact that dante doesnt look like himself. honestly if you want to sit here and bitch about a game you dont understand yet, you cant call yourself a fan of dmc.
