Al Sharpen said at the 2008 Democratic National Convention, I'm gonna ride that donkey all the way to Washington, D.C.! Donkeys are the tortoise winning the race with the hare, donkeys are David v. Goliath, donkeys are the loudest ones in the room, the underdogs who won't be ignored. They speak for the compromised and overlooked. Donkeys are adorable.
