Vortex Kodiak Fog Chiller

The Vortex Kodiak fog chiller is an economical solution for medium sized scenes in haunted attractions, live theater or film production. The Kodiak can handle all standard size fog machines from a tiny palm-sized 200 watt unit up to as much as mega sized 44,000 CFM machines such as the Jem ZR44. This video shows the mid sized Kodiak with 50 lbs of standard ice cubes, driven by the Martin Magnum Pro 2000 fog machine which produces 24,720 CFM on its own. Using the multi-patented VEST technology (Vortex Endothermic Sublimation Technology), we multiply the resulting volume and density of the fog by up to 500%, flash freeze the smoke instantly as low as 29 degrees and produce enough natural energy to distribute the cold fog up to 100 ft away without using any fans of any kind. This results in super thick, super-chilled fog placed directly inside the scene rather than the thin hazy mist that results in fog delivered by fan. (The distance of fog distribution is directly proportional to the size of the fog machine used, so be sure to use the correct system for your needs.)

The Kodiak can operate on as little as .07 cents per minute, 20,000% less costly than comparable CO2 low fog systems. The small 50#lbs of ice in its flash freeze chamber is enough cold energy to produce up to 11 cubic miles of real fog using the VEST technology.
