Chance Sanders shares with us a quick tip and trick in regards to constructing a sling spear, or frog gig for hunting. Very simple example of construction and use. Furthermore Chance uses a broken Titanium Spork to make the frog gig. Just a quick intro on the design and function. Let us know what you guys think and stay tuned for some primitive hunting videos.

    For the spear point, you should split the tip into a 8 inch long 3-prong. Use cord to keep the prong separated. Sharpen the points.

    When you spear a fish, the prongs will spread and lock the fish.

    Great video, excellent idea. One thing, though, why use a titanium spork, when you could just go to goodwill and get some forks? Or is this just because you'd have the spork in your gear already when you get stuck out there?
