@Leothiman Yeah besides it isn't shown here but the self-destruct actually worked here and would have killed off SpiderMan if it wasn't for the rule of cool. So if somehow they need to move and dispose of the hero in the process a self-destruct button is invaluable.

@GamerSlyRatchet1 Ah, okay. Shows how much attention I paid to that.

@kriitikko That was George Stacy's eye when it was being scanned by the security system.

Anyone else notice the closeup of an eye around 12:31? Who do you suppose that is? Just some random person or something they were planning for season 3?

Hey, does anyone know where to get and Evil Genius coffee mug? I would love to have one of those!! :D

Poor Uncle Otto,........ such a good person, yet tormented by others. When he discovered that I was a technopath, he saw this as the perfect chance for an apprentice. Unfortunately Osborn was after me too. Uncle Otto is gonna get me an "Evil Genius" mug too.

@GregXB3 They did the same thing in the '90s series (Ock as Peter's mentor). Yeah, it was a little odd, but it worked well. Plus, there was the added element of Ock being legitimately crazy and trying to kill Spider-Man, whereas the Lizard isn't really to blame for his actions. On that note . . . not excited about Rhys Ifans replacing Dylan Baker. :/
This version of the character is great, although I enjoyed Molina's intensity and more imposing physical presence more. :D

@IsaacGates Molina was great, but he wasn't written as the classic character. They kind of wrote him like the Lizard in the movie.

Why do supervillians always include a self-destruct in their base(s)? Are they that sure that someone will find it and wreck it?

@Leothiman Can't let your secrets be discovered by the enemy.

I love this version of Ock. Although I personally prefer Molina's version, the Spectacular version is undoubtedly the bested animated adaptation of Ock.

@GAvillain Molina was great. But I like Ock as the Master Planner, straight out of Lee/Ditko. Molina's Ock seemed to be more like the Lizard to me.
