@adyyy22 You have change (like you change channels) to a HDMI, you might have more than 1 HMDI input, you must tune to one you have plugged to.

Hey buddy you left out something important. I have samsung tv lcd an motorola Droid X. My HDMI wasn't hooking up. I you didn't mention you have a small HDMI in the corner screen you have to press on the cell phone to get it to connect to the TV.
