8 Cars On Fire, Explosions, Death

I caught this accident on Castro and 18th Street in San Francisco. A man had a heart attack and crashed into a parked car. A man in the car was killed by the collision. A motorcycle parked next to the car fell over and spilled gas that ran down hill and ignited 8 cars on fire. By the time I filmed this the fire dept was already there. I was the first one on the scene with a camera.

@calfan3 Tankers (both over the road and over rail system) have a vent system in place that is suppose to vent excess gas out of the tank. In the event of an accident or fire the vent sometimes malfunctions causing a build up of air with a fire load causing the explosion.
