vintage gear demo by RetroSound

The Dynacord VRS-23 vertical reverberation system is a discrete-time fully analogue BBD (bucket-brigade device) delay and producing fantastic reverb or delay effects. The coarse delay/reverb time is switchable (50, 100, 200 and 400 ms) and adjustable. The sound is very warm and organic. early 80s

demo bass sequence: Roland Juno-60

  • Thats what I love about hardware delays, but this one is very nice Marco, real time manipulation, very inspiring with just one simple sequence from the juno 6 as you have shown. There were parts that sounded very "jarre" from oxygene. You would not think a digital delay would sound different to analogue delay, but this proves there is a BIG difference in how the music can be inspired to do a different thing ..thanks again!

  • Hi! Keep on rockin'

  • @munichsound ja manfred, das sind schon tolle teile. einzigartiger klang!

  • Jesus dude, where do you find these beautiful machines?? - You should turn your house into a vintage synth museum or something. That would make a friggin awesome tourist attraction!!!

  • @aw5omeFRAZA i would pay to see it

  • Hey - I have one of these units collecting dust as part of my rack gear. It never gets used - didn't realise it was such a great sounding piece of kit - think it's time to sell it onto somebody who will appreciate it more

  • That....a 303...and a rhythm-box(even some cheap Casio stuff)...and I`m happy for hours ;)

  • @mik300z Sooo right...I have a small Cubase/Pro-Tools set up and the hardware stuff even sounds "better" or different....not sure yet.... Peace m8.

  • Wow, nice sound!!! Do you have any idea if it uses chips for the delay (for example Panasonic MN3005), and if yes, what is the model?

Thanks again for the demo! :-)

  • Dynacord product's always good quality

  • BBD circuits were also found in chorus devices as I have discovered ("Intersound")

  • es geht doch nichts ohne ein geiles Delay...!

    Klasse.
