This is the Virgin River overflowing a few 100 feet from my house after 3-4 days of rainfall in southern Utah. Normally this river is only about 20-30 feet across, now it looks to be a couple 100 feet across in places

  • this is 2012 today happy new year! That area is water restricted. Why did all these ppl move there. Where did they come from. THat area was so nice and quiet and out of the way,,then here come broke down vegas and hell hole cal. Rich bady boomers. and grand kids who raped cabins that had never been broke intoo in 75 years but a bear in1976,, ppl never make anything better once the migragtion begun. There is brand new homes in Vegas empty,go back there and leave the MY desert alone!.

  • Haha this is where they filmed the st george skimboard vid. Not so nice now.

  • I went to check that out 2 days ago. In 2005 I used to live next to the river and it was scary. so much for a 100 year flood plan!
