Recently, the NYPD has started ticketing cyclists at all the red lights in Central Park. One can't argue that getting a ticket because you break the law (by running a red light) is wrong. But why single out one group of people to ticket? Unless cyclists are 100% responsible for all the accidents in the park, it seems a little unfair.
If you listen closely at 1:04, you can hear electrical clicks from the electro-mechanical signal controller at 1:11!

I agree everyone needs to be treated the same way ! Pedestrians should also get 270 fine if crossing on the red light.

Pedestrians ALWAYS have right of way. Bicyclists do not. Not to mention since the bikes move faster their less likely to pay attention

I think I saw this guy filming while I was riding, and was actually a little annoyed that he was standing in the middle of the road filming. I thought, he wasn't even looking when I zipped past him.
