I'm just giving you guys a quick update on my job hunt. I've been looking for a job for the past three months and I haven't gotten anywhere.

Because I doubt that my stepdad will let me stay rent-free for any longer, I've decided to go into the Job Corps. From what I understand, it's basically like college in that you dorm there and take classes there as well.

If any of you guys are in the Job Corps or have gone there, please leave me a comment telling me about your experiences there and if you'd recommend it.

Man I don't blame you I know how you feel. : / All I can say is stick your neck through it and good luck. I myself have gotten accepted too and I can understand where you're coming from about JobCorps but in no way should you or anyone let that stop you. If its all you got. DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO TO GET OUT AND BE SUCCESSFUL.

@B0ch0k0ni - Thanks, but I ended up joining the Navy since they had a better benefits package than Job Corps. I now make weekly videos answering questions about Navy life and such. Thay're called N-FAQs! Check 'em out!

gotta question andy maybe you can help me out.If you have a learning disability and job corps give you an academics test for your certain career move and you don't passed it too fit the career will job corps send you home cause your disability is too bad?

@jamare456 - After doing a little Googling (that sounded sexual), I found out that the Job Corps actually has a learning disabilities program that you can participate in if you genuinely have an LD (which they'll test you for). I'd definitely check that out!

I looked into both the job corps and the navy, and I'm gonna go with the navy so that I can go back to school.

Take it from my crazy ass Graduated from three different Centers. Take it like this it's what you make of it. It has a lot bad, but flip side it does give you a lot and it's free.
