Akasha: Queen of the Damned

A tribute for another one of my favorite characters in the Vampire Chronicles, the former queen, Akasha...

I used a song by Jonathan Davis entitled Careless (Akasha's Lament)...

Akasha is a very interesting character in the book, The Queen of the Damned, but she's very evil and somewhat misguided in a way...

I really think Aaliyah was very beautiful in the movie...

dude I would've LOVED seeing them try to beat Akasha. She'd wave her pretty arm and BOOM each of those vampires would incinerate. I'd imagine Bella screaming, "Nooooo Edward!" and then BOOM she's dead too. LOL sigh I miss Aaliyah :(

Aaliyah played this role so well because she was obssessed with Egypt and its culture. She stated numerous times that she loved vampires and vampire movies. I don't think her death had anything to do with this movie or its role but what I do know is she played the hell out of this role even the critics gave her kudos..most ppl say they only said that bc she died but get real look at that walk, the vampireish accent..idgaf wut nobody say she did damn good not too many females can do wut she did

@84chrisdave To be 100% accurate she died during the making this movie. She did not complete it in totality. She ACTUALLY died after filming her music video Rock the Boat. Do not try & infer anything negative about her.
