Although some analysts say there have been changes in the country since Burma's latest elections in 2010, citizens say they are more worried about daily life and their survival rather than politics. Secretary Clinton's visit to Burma indicated a sign of reform. Since her visit to the country, many are hopeful for change.

  • to do commerce, to bring foreign investors and income, etc. Hopefully MM will follow S.Korea as an example (we know s.korea and n.korea are totally different because of governing structure, policies and restrictions). All I'm saying is Myanmar needs a democracy that will work with it's culture, people and etc. Learn from other countries and create a better Myanmar. Everyone is watching to see this nation "golden land" shine again and become a part of globalization.

  • I was watching PBS station and saw a story about china. One thing I took away from the program is a developed country like China still needs 10 more years of changes in order for it to become a country like America. The reason? "Creativity. American schools allow children to explore and think freely. My reason for bringing this up is the 1st thing these political leaders need to do is improve education and it's system. 2nd improve transportation systems and the freedom to travel in and out of MM

  • At least a CHANGE is a hope and its a win-win possible situation for the America's enterprises to enter & share the delicious cake together with the improvement of employment rate in Myanmar, no free lunch can be expected though! What a gorgeous opportunity for them!
