To me this is still a apbt, people just started breeding for different traits. I remember when this all started in the early 2000's (short and wide). This is pretty much what happened to the english bulldog, people started breeding them short and bow legged. Don't get me wrong i love this type of dog, american pitbull terriers, american bulldogs, any bull dog or bull and terrier breed.

For the most part they are bred selectively for the traits that make it an American Bully. Bred out the terrier and brought out the bully traits. As for my program there was no mixing.
