  • Those are the best looking cars in the fleet!

  • I couldnt agree more. These multilevels + the Comet Vs + The Arrow IIIs are my favorites !

  • Very hot. I like the rail noise in this one.

  • I think the clacking of the wheels on the rails sounds a bit like drumming.

So you get where I'm coming from. Amtrak would be the ideal railroad to work for, IMHO. Some bases being more ideal than others. I hear there are lots of beautiful spaces to get to in Jersey, though, like the quieter beaches, and the countryside. You probably only hate the metropolitan areas, eh? I don't think anyone really adores the cities of NJ.

  • @yukSchmuck not offending me lol I hate jersey sometimes but its been my home the last 35 years

Probably true, but other railroads/ surroundings are more my style. I like a casual, slow pace environment, and Jersey and New York are, no offense, a little brash and crass for me. Even my native Boston with anxiety, but I grew up with that railroad and so it's more like my home railroad, you know?

But basically, I don't think I'm street smart enough to be a good NJT conductor and I can't breathe in those areas. Makes sense? Again, not to offend.

  • @yukSchmuck why not they have to pay decent money lol

  • Very musical. (Rythmic.) I'd like to be a conductor, but not for NJT.
