I agree but increased phenomenology decreases ethnocentricity, ex living in a small town and not being educated, or being a new wiccan know it all. Wisdom helps increase understanding, as you say listening to their foundational reasoning for their precepts, and integrating new perspectives, but difficult with fundamentalists. We are responsible for our own beleifs as pagans thankfully.
