i have got the same problem with my bird....bying a couple of link...tryin to put them on the right way......and broke again the 2 new links of the spare bag.... and now i have broke the the flybarless washout when tryin to set up !!!! i will sell this bird !!!
Those links actually have a correct way to go in, unfortunately, in this case, the mold was done the wrong way and you can't fit both sides correctly. :(
This is most likely what caused the failure, as I had removed this link a couple times while finishing the assembly process.
how the heck do those things get in that condition anyway? i had something similar on my yak. it's just crazy! thats why you have to check everything! i'm finding an easier hobby. like drinking beer...lol
@figaaatellu Don't sell it.
It flies really well.
What I did to prevent it from happening again is to pay close attention to the way those links go in.
The one that goes to the flybar cage is wrong, so I actually unscrew the ball on the bottom to put the link through the right side.
I have not broken any links since them. :)

I am glad as well. It is much cheaper to replace the part than it is to actually crash. :)
I caught that while rebuilding the head. That link popped in too easily.
