This is NOT " in a Deep Purple vein"! This sucks big time. This guy may be a decent keyboard player but he understands "Deep Purple vein" no more than I understand Swahili grammar.

Amazing chops and seemingly-endless creativity. Thanks,YouTube and thanks, Jordan.

KB3 mode in Kurzweil PC3 (OS 2.03) is much much better than the CX 3 sections in the Oasys and Kronos.Jordan, come back and buy a Kurzweil PC3 K8 or wait for the new K series?

@vithaj92 most likely, many of these "fanboys" are either just high off the hype or they think that Rudess is amazing (which he is) or the poster wants thumbs up. Most of these guys are probably not unaware of keyboardists at all. This is a vid displaying Jordan's skill so of course people will be practically worshipping the guy here.

wohoo!

@vithaj92 A jazz standard like Dona Lee in 260 beets per minute and soloing over it. That is as complicated as it gets, even though I find it highly uninteresting to listen to I see that true greatness in skill lies the pianists hand. I don't doubt however that Jordan Rudess could play it. I'm just saying this is an answer to the people who think Jordan Rudess is everything. Again, I love Rudess (trying to keep away attacks from fanboys)

I love Jordan Rudess.. But I don't understand the hype and I certainly don't understand all the fanboys that seem to be blind to other keyboardists. There are the likes of Bobby Sparks, Jay Oliver, Chick Corea, Kevin Moore, Keith Emerson, Joey Defrancesco and countless more. If being a keyboardist includes being able to play a synthesizer that can sound like a church organ or an orchestra I still don't understand because playing orchestra type stuff is much easier than playing..... And He is such a nice guy. He is always teaching and sharing his ideas. He will go down as one of the great musicians of our time. Along with... idk, is anyone as talented, influential, or as passionate about sound waves?

I really can't understand ANY negative comments about this this guy--he is hands down the best keyboardist I have ever seen live or on video--(I've seen Wakeman, etc.) I'm sure not one of the negative posters can even play "chopstix". This guy is great.
