@nearhelsinki Bird's version is a cover. It was originally on the Handsome Family album In the Air in 2000, and was covered by Bird on Weather Systems in 2003.

Even better than album version - the repetition of the "and the seeds blowing sloftly through the branches of the trees" at the end with Brett and Rennie's complementary vocals is staggering
