Good demo! I kept thinking I was doing the wrong thing because that mushroomy bit was left sticking out - I assumed it should eventually lie flat against the material. Thanks for clearing that up. :)

@DObird Rivets are generally made of soft aluminum, so it would be virtually impossible for a rivet to get stuck. The rivet is no match for a steel drill bit. Of course, when you drill out a rivet, you might not be able to pull it OUT, but you can push it into the hole. Out of sight, out of mind.

How do you remove pop rivets in order to remove and replace one or more pieces of aluminum that has corroded or otherwise become damaged
