A governor somehow steals an election, causes a 9/11, goes into Afghanistan, hears Intel that Iraq for one thing has killed millions of it's own people, decides that doesnt matter but instead that we should go into Iraq to avenge his father? The problem with your analysis is that none of the things you list must actually be true for Gov. Richardson to be correct that GW Bush misdirected the "war on terror" against Iraq, in part, because of vengeful feelings regarding Saddam's attack on his father.

Bush went to war to finish what his dad could not. He went to war because "this was the man who tried to kill my dad." It is so obvious that Bush is THE WORST PRESIDENT IN THE ENTIRE HISTORY OF OUR NATION. I hate GWB, But I will say removing Uday, Qusay And Saddam from Iraq was a very good thing to do Uday was a sick m*therf*cker and so was Qusay.. I wouldn't say we really invaded Afghanistan. they really don't have a military or government that has control, we were looking for someone there that caused a great deal of pain for the American people. We killed the Taliban not Afghan soldiers.

Iraq was NOT for revenge. In the year 2000, Iraq switched its oil transactions from the Dollar to the Euro in an attempt to raise more money for the "Oil for Food" program. Feeling threatened that the Dollar would be compromised as a world reserve currency, Iraq was invaded. AS SOON AS Iraq was taken over, the oil transactions were switched back to dollars.
