We do not know who Allaah will accept or who he has already accepted. Wealth and status is not a ticket to jannah. May Allaah have mercy on Abdul Basit. Emotionalism is not a proof that Allaah has accepted something. A person can make you feel good all day long and have status and wealth but if their way is not in accordance with the sunnah than it is not accepted. This is from Tawheed.

if you are then just look at the way Allah SWt accepted him, in his life, he went around the world reciting, was even called from high places, in palaces, through his recitation people accepted Islaam. Even after his death, Allah SWT has kept him famous, inshaAllah he will be till the day of Judgement,
He reads from his heart and his love for the Qur'aan, not for worldy gain
Allah SWT show us all the straight path
