A collection of super 8mm films. Very Abstract and possibly strange. Worth a look though.

  • i don't get it what is an 8mm film ?? and what makes that video so awsome i believe it sucked ass cause the plot was stupid and the soundtrack was awful

and i dont really see what is unqiue about that video

  • Granted this isn't the best of it's kind it's still pretty good. This is alternative, art cinema. And btw, super 8mm is a type of film, it refers to the size of the frames. Other formats that you probably don't know about would be 8mm, 16mm, Super 16mm, 35mm (theatres), etc... If you wanna be a good critic it be helpful to check out alternative art cinema instead of basing everything you know off the latest blockbuster.

  • Wow. That last part, "BURST", was awesome.

I really enjoyed this, the music was very good too, may I ask the names of the tunes?

  • #2- RJD2: The Proxy

    Face- The Mars Volta: Tellevators

    Burst- Govinda: Erotic Mystics

  • like it very much. just bought a super 8mm myself, can't wait to get it ready (film is quite expensive unfortunately). well done, well done.

  • Yeah I'd do this more often but its wayyy too time consuming and expensive. The last scratch film on this video took probably 20-40 hours.

  • From your tags I see you scratched the film, is that right? I like it and the only film I really worked with is Super 8.

  • nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i use super 8 as well...what camera do you use? what telecine? nice scratches!

  • It's artistic because animating directly onto film strip is incredibly difficult. Using a knife to scratch onto tiny frames is different than any other sort of medium. For really good examples see Norman McLaren or Caroline Leaf.

  • SRY DUDE I HAVE SEARCHED super 8mm films IN WIKIPEDIA and still i dont understand what is so artistic about that film

  • it's like looking into someone's dream...or nightmare.

  • you are an artist, this fantastic, it's you capturated emotions and sounds in an audiovisual jail
