I Have My Moments - Part 2 - CC's Scenes On GL From April 29th 2008

Jeffrey says that the State has no qualms with this account of things and there is no evidence to indicate any fault on the part of the driver. Before things can end, Natalia gets up. Jeffrey and the judge invite her to speak. She says a few words about Gus: He was a husband and a friend and on his way to help someone when he died. Gus wouldn't want this boy punished for something that wasn't his fault. "He would forgive you and so do I," she says. Olivia runs out of the courtroom. Natalia follows her out. Olivia says that she can't live with what's happened and she's outraged about everything. Maybe she is as well, but she doesn't make a big show of it, Natalia says. Before they can leave, Jeffrey calls them back in. Inside, Rafe is making a scene, screaming at the boy who hit his dad.

At the station, Olivia asks Jeffrey to protect Gus' son from prosecution. There's not much he can do since Rafe assaulted someone in court. Olivia offers to pay his bail. Meanwhile, Frank tells Natalia that the arresting officer is a friend of his so he'll do what he can. Natalia hugs him in thanks. When Frank leaves, she tells her son that blaming someone else doesn't work. Meanwhile, Frank follows Olivia down to the water. He tells her that it's nice she wants to help Rafe. "I have my moments," she says. She's nothing like Natalia though; she wanted to do what Rafe did. She returns to Cross Creek where Jeffrey waits for her. He didn't tell her about the hearing because he knew that she would go and it wouldn't do any good.
