  • Can you help me with a cone closed sink? I cannot do it. :(

  • @joshovideos What's a cone closed sink?

  • Hi! Nice video to show how to do the sink folds... I've one question left: If you open the paper to do the open sink, how can you make sure you fold it back the same way (I mean the other folds around)? Espacially when you have complex folds before... that wont be easy, I think...

  • @Olekpunkt Well, if you do complex folds, you probably feel very comfortable with folding sinks - at least the simple kind. It helps that you don't create any new creases, that is a big orientation point. Also, if you ever get lost, you can just collapse the model back to the step before the sink, and then start over. An interesting observation is that in complex models I usually find open sinks to be harder than closed sinks, because you have to change the direction of a lot of creases.

  • could you help me do the open sink but for a pentagon?

  • @DarkNinjaStudent The concept is the same. Ensure that the pentagon has mountain folds all around, and make the top point go inside. To flatten, you'll have to put 2 layers to one side, and 3 to the other. Hope this helps!

  • that was really helpfull, thanks!

  • I enjoyed the video, but the audio and video quality are not very good. A sharper recording would make it easier to follow along :).

  • Thanks !
