A brief pictorial review of the participation by 'Carpe Diem I' in the 25th "Admiral-Count of Barcelona" regatta, in Palma de Mallorca (August, '09).
At 1:33 the scenario changes to the awards ceremony, held inside the [summer] Royal Palace, an 11th century Moorish castle in the old port. The man in the checked shirt (in the middle) is King Juan Carlos de Bourbon, who gave out the trophies. The closing shot is CD-I's crew -- thanks to Juan-Carlos, Jose, Gemma, Tim & Rumba! A GOOD TIME WAS HAD BY ALL (we finished 4th place in our category -- not bad but no trophy to brag about).

  • No, this video is composed of pictures of my boat, only (#48 in the competition). The video you saw at the dock side was made by the Orgainizing Committee. I suppose a copy can be obtained from them.

  • Please... Is this the original trailer of the XXV Trofeo Almirante Conde De Barcelona as showed on the docks at big screen??
