Windy Takeoff on British Airways 777 - 200

British Airways 777-200's brilliant, if for nothing else the 2-4-2 config. This seat 21K is nice. You just have one person next to you, makes it easy to get out of your seat. Also, its right over the wing, so you're gonna feel less bumpy (as compared to the tail end).

Anyways, the BA service from London to Calcutta is not bad. The meals are again great (i always order special meals - cos they are served first, hot and you probably done before others start, and dont have to jostle for elbow space).

Calcutta still does not have a airchute - so you gotta walk down the ladders upon arrival and then take the bus, which calls for a nice/different experience.

Loved this flight.

they will , again , after the new airport is finished and the second runway is put to operation and the first one extended by 1 km.they are planning to introduce the A380 on this route.this happened in 1985-93.they atopped operation then with the 747 and resumed it on 93 with the newer planes
