  • I'm a Belfast Loyalist and I don't believe in united Ireland, but this page is about music n not my political soap box.. I'm also a musician n savageminstrel is good at it

  • @gasmeter1947 Good on you, my friend. And thanks for the nice comment, it means a lot.

  • Can't understand so many dislikes,!!? Tis well sung and beautifully picked on guitar, a better version than most.

  • @gasmeter1947 British and N. Irish loyalists have taken a dislike to me, and my singing of rebel songs, and targeted my page for harassment. The go through and mark all my comments as spam, and constantly click dislike. Bunch of little baby whiners.

  • Nice version

  • good version brother. i am from ireland yes very good.. paddy'd green shamrock shores is great version too i think.. there s a bit of cajun style to that and it adds to it.. so keep it up bro

  • Nice work! A surprisingly difficult song, easy to screw up by too much sentimentality or not enough, by singing it too fast or too slowly, by adding too much ornamentation or not enough, or by imposing odd stylistic interpretation (e.g. bluegrass) on it. IMO, nearly everyone who performs this song crashes and burns, but you've nearly nailed it with a simple and straightforward and relaxed approach. By this time you must have worked on it more; I'd like to hear it now.

  • Wow! Nice!

  • Great Job!! I always enjoy the lilt of a michigan brogue in a song.

  • Bravo sir!
